Welcome to Troy University's Atlantic Region, where we are committed to providing students a quality educational experience. Troy University has been making higher education opportunities available to working adults for over one hundred years and is especially proud of its close association with our nation's military services. Graduate programs are offered on military installations in North Carolina, Southeast Virginia and in the Washington D.C. metroplex areas of northern Virginia, and southern Maryland. Programs at U.S. sites are open to the civilian community as well as to DOD personnel.

Troy University, Alabama's third largest University, has its main site at Troy, Alabama, approximately 45 minutes south of Montgomery. Troy University also has separately accredited sites at Dothan and Montgomery, Alabama. The University traces its origins to the Troy University Normal School established on February 26, 1887 Troy University and its extended sites have a long history of providing quality educational services and of serving the Nation's armed forces. In 1961, Troy University established a center at Fort Rucker, Alabama. Another center was established at Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama in 1961. The Atlantic Region was established in 1991. 

TROY Global Campus, the Region's parent organization at the University's Troy Site, in Alabama oversees educational programs and throughout the United States and in several foreign countries. The Troy University System is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097; Tel: (404) 679-4051, to award the associate's degree, the bachelor's degree, the master's degree, and the educational specialist's degree.

The faculty and staff of the Atlantic Region are committed to providing the highest quality education designed to equip students for success in the 21st Century.
