Graduate Admissions
Readmission

Previous TROY students who have not been enrolled in consecutive terms, must complete an Application for Readmission at the time of reenrollment. Readmission will be in the status held when the student was last enrolled with TROY.

Students who have attended another college since their last enrollment with TROY will be considered new students unless they were given transient authorization to attend the other school. A readmission form must be submitted along with an official transcript from the last college attended. There is no readmission fee unless the 3-year rule applies (see below).

NOTE: Students from another TROY branch who have attended no other institutions in the interim will be admitted to TROY in the status they would have held had they returned to their previous TROY site. Students transferring from Troy University Dothan Campus and Troy University Montgomery Campus are considered new students.

3-Year Rule: Former TROY students who have not attended TROY for more than three years will be moved to the catalog in effect at the time of re-enrollment. A new degree plan will be prepared showing remaining degree requirements. A $25 readmission fee will be charged.

Policy Statement: Troy University is an equal opportunity institution and therefore does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, or handicap in admission or access to its programs.
