ATTENTION Students: Students beginning degree programs in MBA, MSM, or MSHRM with Term 1 08 and later are now required to take either the GRE (General exam) or GMAT Admissions test. The MAT test will no longer be accepted for your Admissions test score report for Troy University graduate school. Please ensure that your GRE/GMAT scores are sent to Troy University Norfolk area school code: 5792. See ets.org for testing centers.
Contact the Norfolk Naval Base at (757) 451-0152, Langley AFB at (757) 766-3611, or the Norfolk Regional office at (757) 451-8203 for registration information. For Testing at Norfolk Naval Base and Langley AFB, students should arrive at the testing office no later than 15 minutes before test start time. The test fee is $70.00. Payment must be received no later than one week after completion of examination. The registration fee is nonrefundable for students who "no show" for testing. Students who cancel prior to the scheduled test date will be assessed a processing fee of $35.00. Click here for directions and base access information.
Please make payment ($70.00) for the MAT exam via Trojan Web Express or mail payment amount by check or money order to: Troy University, TROY Global Campus, Adams Administration Building, Room 314 Troy, Alabama 36082. The MAT test administered at Norfolk Regional Office will be computerized for the number of computers available. You must pre-register for testing as seats are limited. Should test takers exceed number of computers, paper/pencil testing will be used. To pre-register email: Sharon Davis at sjdavis@troy.edu or call (757) 451-8203. Students attending the New Student Orientation will be tested at 8:00 am.

As a reminder, all Comprehensive Exam Applications are due along with the intent to graduate form. A fee of $50.00 is required at the time the application is filed. Students who fail to cancel by the appropriate due date MUST reapply and repay all applicable fees. Comp Exam candidates must be cleared prior to taking the exam. Contact your Troy University representative for details.

Proctored exams are given at the Norfolk regional office by appointment only and within the following guidelines:
Contact Marilyn Stegner, Student Services Specialist, at 757-274-0498 or mstegner@troy.edu, to schedule your exam BEFORE submitting your proctor request form. The eCampus deadline for scheduling your exams and submitting your forms is the last day of Week 3 of the term.

Effective Term 3, 2009, students taking a proctored exam will be charged $25 if they select a Troy University Campus or site. The charge will be posted to the student's Trojan Web Express account.
All seats are filled on a first come, first served basis.

English and Math Placement Tests :
English and Math placement exams are required before students can register for a math course or English composition course. It is recommended that students test during their first semester with Troy University .
Placement exams are administered at the Fort Eustis Army Education Center and the Norfolk Regional Office. POC (757) 878-2083, ext 246 Ms. Cheryl Lilly (clilly@troy.edu). Placement testing will also be available on the dates for New Student Orientation at 8:30 am..

Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress (MAPP):
Students are required to take the MAPP (Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress) upon completion of the General Studies program or completion of 60 semester hours or more. The Undergraduate Business MFT may also be taken by applicants for the MBA, MSM, and MSHRM programs who have an undergraduate degree in business but do not meet other prerequisite requirements for entry into Troy University College of Business degree programs. The score required to waive these program prerequisites for entry is 146. Either a satisfactory score or scheduling your Foundation classes is necessary for entrance into the program. There is a $50.00 fee for the exam.
First contact your Site Coordinator to review your program requirements. Upon approval, they will instruct you to contact Marilyn Stegner, the test proctor, mstegner@troy.edu, 757-274-0498, to schedule testing.
