Veterans Administration Pilot Program

A unique partnership allowing the VA’s acquisition workforce to take part in a pilot program to earn a college degree. The program reflects Troy University’s capacity for flexibility and innovation, while addressing an important education demand by designing a pilot degree program that not only meets the mandatory coursework, but also offers the Acquisition Workforce associate and baccalaureate degrees as part of its Applied Science degree program.

The Acquisition Workforce performs an essential role for the VA that translates directly into annual cost savings in millions of dollars to veterans and their families as well as taxpayers. The pairing of TROY and the VA promotes an educational investment in each of the Acquisition Workforce employees, which in turn will benefit the effectiveness of this dedicated group, motivated to serve the nation’s veterans.
