Master of Public Administration
Program Description
The Master of Public Administration (MPA) is an accelerated 12-Course, 36-semester-hour program that can be completed in as little as 15 months. The MPA degree is nationally recognized as the preferred graduate degree for those wishing to enter or advance their career in public service. The program objective is to enhance the student’s values, knowledge and skills to act ethically and effectively in the management of public service organizations and programs.
TROY’s MPA is often chosen by:
- Those pursuing a career in public service in government, nonprofit, and private sector.
- Middle managers seeking promotion or departmental/agency transfer.
- Active or retired military desiring either a master’s degree or specific employment in the Federal Government in public administration.
- Those transitioning into government consulting or contracting roles.
This degree is for students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and want to earn an advanced degree to further their professional career.
